Key verse: Matthew 27:46 The wilderness can be a place of discomfort. Jesus understands this discomfort/isolation/abandonment because He experienced it on the cross when He call out to God, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me." When we come to the cross we can find comfort and healing.
